How to choose a scythe honing stone?
If you use a peening jig, it is good to use this stone immediately after peening to remove the burr that is formed due to the edge contact with the jig cap. The coarse carborundum stone is used for restorations and repairs of scythes when it is necessary safely remove more material around the edge.
