Coarse artificial stone. Great for safe removal of material while doing repairs. We do not recommend to use it while mowing. It is better to peen the scythe before it gets too dull and use finer stones.

If you use a peening jig, it is good to use this stone immediately after peening to remove micro edge that is formed due to the edge contact with the jig tenon. The coarse Carborundum stone is used for restorations, when we need to safely remove more material around the edge.
